Derbyshire Dales Goes Green!

DDCE had a positive and useful engagement with visitors at Derbyshire Dales District Council’s annual Green Event in Matlock on Saturday 18th July. We spoke with several new members who had some great ideas about how community energy could help reduce bills in their local area.

Our portable solar panel and battery system proved that solar PV can work on even the cloudiest of days. We used them to power a domestic cooling fan inside the (already cool) gazebo ~ perhaps a heater would have been more useful!
